At Blue Water Sports, you'll complete five exciting Adventure Dives while exploring some of Trincomalee's beautiful reefs, rock formations and marine life. The course is designed to make you a safer, more capable diver—not through classroom lectures, but through real diving experience. The course includes five Adventure Dives, with Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation being mandatory, alongside three additional Adventure Dives selected with your instructor based on local conditions and your interests. Upon certification, eligible divers can dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres (100 feet)

Itinerary

Your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is typically completed over 2–3 days. You'll begin by meeting your instructor for registration, equipment fitting, and a course briefing before starting your first Adventure Dive. Throughout the course, you'll complete five Adventure Dives, including the mandatory Deep Adventure Dive and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive, along with three additional Adventure Dives selected based on your interests, local diving conditions, and your instructor's recommendations. Between dives, you'll complete the required knowledge development, review your progress with your instructor, and enjoy surface intervals to rest and prepare for the next dive. Once you've successfully completed all course requirements, you'll receive your internationally recognised PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, allowing you to continue exploring the underwater world with greater confidence and experience.

Do I need to be an experienced diver?

No. You only need an Open Water certification (or equivalent).
